Building with SIPs Structural Insulated Panels

Structural Insulated Panels are becoming an increasingly popular modern method of construction for a new generation of house builders looking to build as quickly as possible whilst maintaining the highest standards for thermal and acoustic insulation, structural integrity and fire resistance.

The big question is, what exactly are Structural Insulated Panels (otherwise known as SIP’s) and what do they do?

SIPs are one of the best alternative construction materials today because these offer advantages over conventional materials. First is the ease and speed of completing a structure using the said material. Unlike conventional materials, it doesn’t need framing. You just have to tightly install every panel, and seal the joints in place. SIP installation doesn’t require the skill of carpentry to assemble every panel, which will reduce your overhead costs.
